It was such a joy working with our amazing bride Amanda and her wonderful groom Jamie to plan this special day, and a true delight to see it all come together! Speaking for myself and our Asst. Wedding planner Monique, Amanda made our jobs a breeze <3 and was always on top of her wedding details and beautifully organized! We are currently working on plans to clone her (!) Our bride and groom chose the perfect color scheme for their late October wedding – a mix of deep purple contrasted against a light and airy ivory lace. Amanda and Jamie were surrounded by a very special group of friends and family on their wedding day! As wedding planners, our hope is always that our couple feels loved, supported and has every need catered to on their big day, and this wonderful group of bridesmaids and groomsmen and family did a fantastic job – the bridesmaid suite was zen and calm, and the groomsmen kept Jamie (and us!) laughing the entire day with their good natured humor 🙂 Amanda had the most exquisite details ready for her big day (I told you she was a planner!)…a gorgeous bottle of special perfume, monogrammed vow books, and my favorite detail – her personalized converse shoes (all the girls wore matching converse for the comfiest bridal party ever!). Guests were welcomed with hot apple cider and each got to sign a special quilt square, that the talented mother of the bride will turn into a beautiful wedding quilt – what a special memento! Amanda was the most gorgeous bride – every detail was perfect from her glittering headpiece, to her flowy veil and ethereal gown – she was just the most perfect vision on her wedding day! Jamie was sweet and funny, he teased me that I “didn’t know him at all” when I suggested a groomsmen photo without the beer bottles lol! But that is simply him, real, relaxed, and down to earth – he was a fantastic groom and wore a custom suit (his wedding date was handsewn by the tailor into each garment to make them an even more special keepsake!). It is always an honor and thrill to be witness to such a special occasion, especially when the people celebrating are so full of emotion. You could have heard a pin drop during best man Tommy’s emotional toast, and I think our napkins were used to dry tears more than anything else! I am so excited to share a few of the beautiful touches and special moments from this absolutely unforgettable wedding day…
Amanda did a “first look” with her dad – I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
(I think this was referred to as the “boy band” pose 🙂 obviously this crew was killin’ it )
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
