This was truly the happiest of days! I just adored Denise and Dave from the moment I met them, and couldn’t wait until their October wedding day! These two are simply perfect together, and I loved hearing about their past adventures and future plans together! Visiting National parks is a favorite pastime for our bride and groom, so an intimate elopement near Shenandoah National Park seemed like a perfect fit for them! Denise wore a beautiful gown in a dusty rose, and a coordinated floral crown. She was such a beautiful and glowing bride (she and Dave have the most contagious smiles – they are the kind of people that just make you happy to be around them!). I had the best time creating a travel themed sweethearts table featuring some special treasures provided by our bride and groom…a compass, a map, and a cake topper which included their little schnauzer in the fun! Wonderful props didn’t end there…Denise and Dave brought a suitcase adorned with stickers from all their travels (you’ll get to see it below!) and their backpacks for a cute hiking photo on Skyline drive. This wedding day also involved a very special surprise…Denise’s sister and brother in law flew all the way from Texas to be a part of this special celebration. They arrived a little ahead of the bride and groom, and it was certainly a fantastic moment to watch Denise walk through the front door to find her sister waiting inside! Dave did an excellent job keeping the surprise – yay Dave!!! We all had a wonderful time on Skyline Drive for a special mountain photo shoot, and it was extra fun to get to share the beauty of the Blue ridge mountains with our surprise Texas guests. It was a magical afternoon in every way. I can’t wait to share some favorite moments from this incredible blue ridge mountains elopement…
Wishing this wonderful pair a lifetime of happy adventures together!
