Audrey and David wanted to plan a simple yet special wedding day, filled with rustic touches and great friends, and they certainly succeeded on both accounts! This sweet couple chose a neutral color scheme of Cappucinno and Ivory, with some lovely hunter green and pale pink accents tucked here and there, to achieve a beautiful springtime wedding look. We loved the rustic details like burlap and lace table runners (chosen from our inventory) cowboy boots for the groomsmen (and the bride!) and a wooden plaque for guests to sign to commemorate this special day! Audrey was a breathtaking bride in her intricate gown, and chose to carry a simple bouquet made only of white roses (her favorite!). We had what felt like the most beautiful day of the year, the gentle breeze, the mild temperature and the pure blue sky with puffy white clouds floating by all combined to create the perfect backdrop for an amazing day. Every guest I talked to commented that it was simply the most beautiful day for a wedding! After a lovely ceremony officiated by a pastor chosen by the bride and groom, celebrations began, including a delicious dinner catered by Blue Ridge Cafe and lots of time for mingling, dancing and a fun bouquet and garter toss. It was truly a beautiful, relaxed, and very special wedding day and I am so excited to share some favorite moments from this gorgeous spring wedding at the Golden Horseshoe Inn…
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
