Sweet October Elopement Melissa and Warren 10.11.20

We were counting the days until Melissa and Warren’s gorgeous October wedding day! Not only would we have the joy of hosting a very special day, but it would also be our first time getting to meet Melissa and Warren in person! We always feel a special sense of anticipation and responsibility when a couple chooses to trust us with their wedding day before meeting us in person. Over email, we planned for an intimate celebration with a distinctive fall feel and I loved hearing about the special details and vision our sweet couple had for their wedding day. Melissa chose a color scheme of rust and yellow and burgundy and we had fun creating a sweethearts table that embodied that color palette – it turned out to be a perfectly cozy spot to celebrate with family and friends as a soft rain fell outside. Melissa and Warren were so much fun to work with and were such great sports about taking pictures in the rain. We all ended up a little damp, but as Melissa wisely said “everything happens for a reason” and their sweet umbrella pictures are happy reminders that sometimes we just need to dance in the rain.
