Virginia Micro Wedding Valeria and Darren 7.25.20

For our incredible couple Valeria and Darren, a beach wedding turned into a “micro wedding” in the mountains after the coronavirus pandemic disrupted their original plans. In the end, it was everything a wedding day should be…a joyful celebration, surrounded by good friends, and filled with new memories to last a lifetime. We loved all the special details…from thoughtfully personalized mini hand sanitizers (the new #1 wedding day guest favor of 2020!) to the special champagne in the dressing suites, and the gorgeous attire for both bride and groom! Valeria and Darren are as gorgeous on the inside as they are on the outside. Thoughtful, kind, and radiantly in love. I loved getting to spend time with them and see them surrounded by supportive friends and family on such a special day. Darren and Valeria were the first couple to celebrate with our “Afternoon Tea Wedding” package, and it was truly delightful to see it all come to life. Valeria’s color scheme of rose and ivory was accented with charming tea cups at each place setting, and guests enjoyed a sweet afternoon tea following an outdoor ceremony. Guests were also treated to live music for both the ceremony and reception, provided by the Charlottesville Duo “Far Away”. We loved getting to meet Brian and Sarah and their lovely music added a special touch to the celebration! Guests were wonderful about wearing masks when indoors unless seated at their socially distanced guest tables in the reception room. Masks were briefly removed for outdoor photos. At the conclusion of the event, we journeyed up to the mountains for cooler temperatures and some breathtaking mountain top photos. And we are already hard at work on a Wedding Highlight film so that Valeria’s beloved family in her native Brazil can see all the special moments that were captured on this wedding day.
