Kendra and Christopher were married amidst a snowy winter wonderland in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Their Golden Horseshoe elopement was simply magical, and the joy that filled our venue that day was simply unforgettable! Boy, do these two know how to light up a room! My cheeks practically hurt from smiling so much, as I edited these photos. No joke!!! The pure joy of our bride and groom simply jumps of the page – they were so much fun to be around, and their wedding was such a gift to witness. Kendra and Christopher were kind, thoughtful, and easy going (that last part is an understatement, as they even calmly agreed to shift their wedding by one day, to avoid an ice storm that covered the mountains!). The result was photos that are just heart stoppingly beautiful. It felt like the whole world was dressed for a wedding – with white snow blanketing the ground, and the tree branches and giant icicles glittering in the sunlight. Joined by both their sets of parents, this intimate day was perfect in its simplicity. After a cozy indoor ceremony full of big smiles and unbridled joy, we put on our boots and headed out for some unforgettable photos. Skyline Drive was closed due to ice and snow, but that didn’t matter, as the ground of the Golden Horseshoe were ready to put on a beautiful show for us. I am so thankful that Kendra and Christopher found us, and trusted us with such a special day. It was a joy to be a part of, and I am so excited to share some favorite images from this magical winter wedding day…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
