Intimate Tea Wedding Michelle and Jason 1.15.22

We had the joy of celebrating Michelle and Jason’s long awaited wedding day last weekend.  This sweet couple made a big pivot from their originally planned summer wedding, to a January event due to the pandemic.  They couldn’t have been sweeter or more graceful with the change in dates, Michelle swapping her original delicate lacy sandals for some cozier (and adorable!) wedding converse, and adding a faux fur wrap to her attire (which she and her family jokingly referred to as the “game of thrones cape”).  It was truly a pleasure to spend the day with such fun, and fun loving people!  Michelle looked stunning in her gown, and her groom Jason was so handsome in his Marine Corps dress blues.  Our bride and groom shared a very sweet first look on the front porch and then the three of us headed up to the mountaintop (it felt like we had the whole blue ridge mountains to ourselves!) for some fun photos and an epic background!  A fireside ceremony was followed by light refreshments, coffee and cake (check out the t-rex cake toppers our couple decorated themselves!) and lots of love and celebration from the assembled guests.  One special guest (Michelle’s son who is in the military and stationed overseas) even joined the ceremony from afar via Zoom!  I am so excited to share some favorite images from this very special wedding day…

Congratulations to the happy couple!

-xoxo Heather
