Magical Virginia Elopement Sarah and Christopher 3.20.21

Have you heard of “the happiest place on earth”? I’d venture to say that the Golden Horseshoe Inn gave Walt Disney World a run for its money this past Saturday, as proud owner of that title! We were just thrilled to be hosting the wedding of two Disney super fans – our gorgeous bride Sarah and her handsome groom Christopher. We’ve been working with these two for over a year, to plan what was intended to be a large wedding. As with so many couples, all over the world, Sarah and Christopher decided to downsize due to the restrictions of the current pandemic, and opted for an intimate elopement instead. They were still able to incorporate some of the beautiful decorations they had planned to use at their larger event, with lots of Disney themed touches, including a special welcome sign, themed guest book and even adorable cocktail napkins. Joined by close family, Sarah and Christopher exchanged their vows on a warm and sunny March afternoon in a lovely outdoor ceremony. Cake, Champagne and a sweet first dance were followed by an adventurous mountain top photo shoot. There were so many special moments to capture on this lovely day. Some favorites of mine included the “double first look” with both of Sarah’s dads, sweet time getting ready with her mom, sister and mother in law in the dressing room, and the warm words shared during the toast.
